• An active Annual Premium subscription (not monthly, not 3-month)
• OBDAI-branded hardware (Gen 1 or Gen 2)

OEM commands communicate directly with vehicle-specific modules and require verified hardware for safety and reliability. BYOD licenses and monthly subscriptions include all standard Premium features but not OEM Expert Mode.
