You’ll receive a unique activation code by email. Enter it in the OBDAI app on your device to unlock Premium. The code binds to that device and cannot be reused or transferred.
The OBDAI GEN 1 device supports ISO-based OBD2 protocols (ISO9141, ISO14230, ISO15765/CAN). It works with most vehicles worldwide that use these standards, but does not support J1850 or other non-ISO protocols. If your vehicle requires J1850 support, you’ll need the OBDAI Gen 1 Pro device. Please check your vehicle’s OBD2 standard before purchase.
OBDAI runs on iOS, Android, and Windows. Each license code activates Premium on a single device (phone, tablet, or PC). To use Premium on multiple devices, you’ll need additional codes.
Yes. OBDAI GEN 1 device is a standard ELM327 adapter compatible with apps like Torque and OBD Fusion. OBDAI Premium features (Visual AI, repair videos) are exclusive to OBDAI.
U.S. orders ship in 3–5 business days. International orders usually take 7–14 business days. Tracking is provided. Import duties/taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
We’ll send a free replacement within the first year. Your Premium subscription remains active during the process. Contact support@obdai.app with your order number.
Yes. The license code can be activated by the recipient on their own device. This makes OBDAI bundles ideal for gifts or for businesses purchasing codes for employees/fleet use.
Free OBDAI features remain available indefinitely. To keep Premium features, renew at $49.99/year or $4.99/month. The dongle continues working regardless of subscription status.
Yes. The dongle is covered by a 1-year warranty against defects and connectivity issues. This warranty applies to hardware only, not subscription time.
