App store Premium subscriptions (Google Play, Apple, Microsoft) renew automatically each month or year. You cancel through the store. No hardware included.

Premium bundles include an OBD2 scanner plus prepaid Premium for 3 or 12 months. They do NOT auto-renew. When your term ends, you'll have renewal options.

Features are identical — only billing and hardware differ.

No. Premium bundles are prepaid — you're buying 3 or 12 months of Premium upfront. When your term ends, you simply choose whether to renew. No automatic charges, no subscription to cancel, no surprises.

This is different from app store Premium subscriptions, which do auto-renew.

No. Your Premium bundle includes Premium access for the prepaid term. You don't need to subscribe through an app store.

If you're being charged by both OBDAI and an app store, you may have accidentally subscribed twice. Cancel the app store subscription — your bundle license will continue working.

OBDAI works with most OBD2-equipped vehicles: gasoline 1996+ and diesel 2004+ in North America. That covers the vast majority of cars, trucks, and SUVs on the road.

• Premium license code on a sticker inside the package

Your license code is also emailed immediately after purchase — so you can start using Premium right away if you already have a compatible adapter.
