App store Premium subscriptions (Google Play, Apple, Microsoft) renew automatically each year and are canceled through the store. No hardware included.

Premium bundles include an OBD2 scanner plus an annual Premium subscription that also auto-renews — but billing is handled by OBDAI, so you cancel anytime in your account. The scanner is yours to keep.

This applies to bundles bought at obdai.app/shop. Amazon bundles activate with a license code and don't auto-renew.

No. Your Premium bundle already includes a Premium subscription. You don't need to subscribe through an app store too.

If you're being charged by both OBDAI and an app store, you may have accidentally subscribed twice. Cancel the app store subscription — your bundle license will continue working.

OBDAI works with most OBD2-equipped vehicles: gasoline 1996+ and diesel 2004+ in North America. That covers the vast majority of cars, trucks, and SUVs on the road.
