Short answer: Sign in at dashboard.obdai.app with the same credentials you use for the OBDAI app on your phone or computer — NOT your obdai.app store password.
The Dashboard Login Is Your App Login
The web dashboard at dashboard.obdai.app uses the exact same authentication system as the OBDAI mobile and desktop app. It runs through Auth0 (login.ontarioanalytics.com). Same email. Same password. Same social sign-in buttons.
If you signed into the OBDAI app with Google, use Google on the dashboard. If you used Apple, use Apple. If you created an email/password account in the app, use that email and password.
Available sign-in methods:
- Email and password
- Apple
- Microsoft
All four work on both the app and the dashboard. Pick whichever you used when you first set up the OBDAI app.

Common Mistakes
Using your store password. The obdai.app website where you bought your adapter has its own login. That is NOT the same as your OBDAI app login. If you are typing the password you use to check orders or download invoices, stop. That is the wrong one.
Trying to sign up when your account already exists. If you click “Sign Up” on the dashboard and your email is already registered in Auth0 (because you already have an OBDAI app account), it will fail with a generic error. You already have an account. Just sign in. If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password” — do not try to create a new account.
Using the wrong social provider. If you signed up with Google in the app but try to use Apple on the dashboard, Auth0 treats those as two different accounts. Use the same provider you originally used.
Quick Reference
| Login | What It’s For | Where You Use It |
|---|---|---|
| Personal email (Gmail, AOL, etc.) | Your email provider | Nothing to do with OBDAI |
| OBDAI Store (obdai.app) | Orders, invoices, store account | obdai.app store only |
| OBDAI App | The app + the dashboard | OBDAI app + dashboard.obdai.app |
The dashboard uses your OBDAI App login. Not the store. Not your personal email password.
What If I Don’t Have an OBDAI App Account?
If you only bought from the obdai.app store and never created an account inside the OBDAI app itself, you don’t have an Auth0 account yet. The dashboard can’t create one for you from scratch.
Open the OBDAI app on your phone or computer. Create an account there first. Then come back to dashboard.obdai.app and sign in with those credentials.
I’m Logged In But I See “Premium Subscription Required”
Your credentials worked. You’re in. But the dashboard content requires a PRO subscription. If you see a lock icon and “Premium Subscription Required,” your account does not have an active PRO plan.
You need OBDAI PRO to access dashboard features — sessions, vehicle profiles, reports, and vehicle intelligence data.
