Short answer: The ARIA Diagnostic Summary is an AI-generated overview of a vehicle’s diagnostic health, built from your ARIA chat conversations in the OBDAI mobile app. If you haven’t chatted with ARIA about a vehicle, it will say “No diagnostic conversations yet.”
Where It Appears
The ARIA Diagnostic Summary is on the Vehicle Detail page in the web dashboard. Open any vehicle from the Vehicles page and scroll down past the stat cards and Vehicle Information section. You’ll see a card titled “ARIA Diagnostic Summary.”
What It Shows
If you’ve chatted with ARIA about this vehicle in the OBDAI mobile or desktop app, the summary shows an AI-generated paragraph describing the vehicle’s diagnostic health based on those conversations.
If you haven’t chatted with ARIA about this vehicle, you’ll see:
No diagnostic conversations yet. Chat with ARIA in the mobile app to build vehicle history.
This is not an error. It means ARIA has no conversation history for this specific VIN.
How to Build Vehicle History
Open the OBDAI app on your phone or computer. Connect to the vehicle. Chat with ARIA about:
- Trouble codes and what they mean
- Symptoms you’re seeing
- Vehicle behavior and performance
- Maintenance questions
The more you chat with ARIA about a vehicle, the richer the diagnostic summary becomes on the dashboard. Every conversation adds to the vehicle’s history.
This Is Not the Same as the Vehicle Intelligence Tabs
The ARIA Diagnostic Summary comes from your conversations with ARIA in the mobile app. It’s your diagnostic history.
The 7 PRO Vehicle Intelligence Tabs (Market Value, Title Check, Auction, etc.) pull from external third-party databases. They have nothing to do with your ARIA conversations.
Two completely different data sources. Don’t confuse them.
Report Buttons
Below the ARIA summary, you’ll see four report generation buttons:
- Emissions Report (green)
- Diagnostic Report (blue)
- Pre-Purchase Report (orange)
- Estimate Report (purple)
PRO users can click these to generate AI reports from scan session data. Non-PRO users see dimmed buttons.
